About UK Hi-Fi Show Live
High-end audio enthusiasts have a weekend fixture at Ascot each September in UK Hi-Fi Show Live, a consumer show held in the Grandstand at Ascot Racecourse. It is organised by AVTech Media, a publisher of specialist hi-fi and home cinema magazines based in the UK and New York.
Exhibitors are manufacturers and distributors of hi-fi equipment, from loudspeakers, amplifiers and turntables to streamers, digital converters, headphones and cables. Rather than conventional stands, most brands present their products in dedicated listening rooms, where visitors can hear systems in carefully set up demonstrations.
The programme goes beyond the demonstration rooms. Interactive workshops, seminars, presentations and special events run through the weekend, a headphone zone gives personal audio its own space and a vinyl fair caters for record collectors. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day, and the venue offers free parking and food and drink throughout.
Visitors are music lovers and audio enthusiasts who come to listen critically, compare equipment and talk to the people who design and sell it. For brands and retailers, the show offers direct contact with a knowledgeable consumer audience, a chance to present new products in the best possible conditions and an opportunity to support dealers and build loyalty in the UK market.

UK Hi-Fi Show Live 2027: what to expect
The organiser has confirmed that the show will return to Ascot Racecourse in September 2027 over a Saturday and Sunday, but the exact dates for the 2027 edition have not been announced yet. Opening hours are 9:30 to 17:30 on Saturday and 9:30 to 17:00 on Sunday.
For exhibitors, the listening room matters more than any structure. Rooms vary in size and shape, so it pays to request room details early and plan speaker placement, acoustic treatment and seating around them.
