About Hannover Messe
First staged in 1947, Hannover Messe has grown into one of the most important trade shows for the manufacturing industry, and it describes itself as the world's leading event in that field. It is held every spring on the Hannover Exhibition Grounds, one of the largest exhibition sites in Europe.
The show brings together the technologies that shape modern industry. Automation and digitalisation, industrial IT and software, energy technology and industrial infrastructure, and research and technology transfer are all represented, and artificial intelligence now runs as a theme across the whole event, from autonomous robots to generative AI applications on the factory floor.
Exhibitors range from global automation and electrical engineering groups to machine builders, drive and fluid power specialists, software houses, energy technology firms, research institutes and start-ups. The audience is professional and international: engineers, production and plant managers, IT specialists, investors and policymakers come to compare systems and follow where industry is heading.
For exhibitors, the attraction is visibility. The show combines product comparison with systems insight and industrial applications, and it regularly attracts political and media attention. Start-ups and research spin-outs share the grounds with the biggest names in automation, which can open doors to partnerships and investment. The grounds are vast, so stands need strong, high-level branding to be found, and many exhibitors pair a working demonstration with meeting rooms for technical and commercial discussions. Stand Between can introduce exhibitors to builders who know the Hannover grounds.

Hannover Messe 2027: what to expect
Hannover Messe 2027 takes place from Monday 5 to Thursday 8 April 2027 on the exhibition grounds in Hannover, open from 9am to 6pm each day. Looking further ahead, the 2028 show is scheduled for 24 to 27 April 2028.
Hannover Messe week is one of the busiest in the German exhibition calendar, and accommodation in the city is in heavy demand, so hotels and build crew travel are worth securing early. Stands with heavy machinery, double-deck structures or large exhibits need careful planning around floor loads, rigging and delivery windows on the grounds.
