About Speciality & Fine Food Fair
For more than 26 years, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair has been a home for the discovery of fine food and drink. Organised by Montgomery Group, it is a curated trade show for artisan and premium producers and the independent retailers and food service businesses that stock them.
Exhibitors are typically independent producers and suppliers of cheese, charcuterie, bakery, confectionery, preserves, condiments, drinks and gift products, many of them small businesses with a strong provenance story. Visitors are trade buyers from delis, farm shops, independent grocers, department stores, food halls and hospitality businesses, looking for quality and distinctiveness rather than volume lines.
The fair has a discovery-led feel that regulars value: buyers come to find new producers and to taste before they commit. Stands that tell the story behind a product, through materials, lighting and imagery of where and how it is made, tend to do well, and a compact tasting counter often works better than a crowded shelf.
From 2027 the fair forms part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week at ExCeL London, alongside IFE, IFE Manufacturing, HRC, The Pub Show, Hospitality Tech360 and International Salon Culinaire. That places speciality producers in front of a broader trade audience than the fair could gather on its own. Stand Between can match exhibitors with builders who understand artisan food brands and can make even a modest space work hard.

Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2027: what to expect
The 2027 fair takes place from 5 to 7 April at ExCeL London, open 10am to 5pm on the Monday and Tuesday and 10am to 4pm on the Wednesday. It marks a significant change: the fair has moved from its previous September slot at Olympia to April at ExCeL, joining Food, Drink & Hospitality Week. Across the seven co-located events, Montgomery Group cites more than 1,500 exhibitors and over 25,000 verified trade visitors.
For regular exhibitors, the new timing means planning over winter rather than summer, and seasonal gifting ranges may need rethinking for a spring audience. ExCeL's services, deliveries and build rules also differ from Olympia's, so budget and plan for the new venue rather than repeating past arrangements.
