About AGRITECHNICA
AGRITECHNICA describes itself as the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. Organised by DLG, the German Agricultural Society, it is held every two years at the exhibition centre in Hanover and runs for a full week.
The show covers agricultural machinery of every kind together with components and systems for machine builders, the off-highway sector and digital farming technology. Tractors, harvesting equipment, tillage, seeding, crop protection and fertilising technology sit alongside precision farming and data solutions.
Visitors include farmers and contractors, dealers, engineers and other industry professionals, with a large international share. The audience therefore spans the people who build machines, the dealers who sell them and the end users who operate them every day.
Innovation is central to the event. The AGRITECHNICA Innovation Award, judged by an independent DLG commission, recognises products that significantly change or improve a process, and further awards such as the SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS Trophy highlight work by suppliers. Many manufacturers time major launches to the show.
For exhibitors, the scale of the international audience means a single week can open up new markets and dealer relationships. Machinery manufacturers use it to show complete ranges, while component suppliers meet engineering teams from the machine builders. The long build and dismantling periods reflect the size and complexity of many stands.

AGRITECHNICA 2027: what to expect
AGRITECHNICA 2027 runs from Sunday 14 to Saturday 20 November at the Hanover exhibition grounds, open daily from 9am to 6pm, with AgriBusiness Days on 14 and 15 November. DLG reported 2,819 exhibitors and 477,054 visitors at the 2025 edition.
Exhibitor registration opens on 16 November 2026 and closes on 31 January 2027, followed by hall layout planning, with confirmations and hall plans due in May 2027. Awards entries close on 16 July 2027. Stand construction runs from 6 to 13 November and dismantling from 21 to 28 November, so large machinery stands need delivery, cranage and rigging coordinated tightly within that window. The organiser notes these dates may change. Hanover hotels fill quickly for a week of this size, so book crew accommodation early.
