About EIMA International
EIMA International is the Bologna exhibition for agricultural and gardening machinery, promoted by FederUnacoma, the Italian federation of agricultural machinery manufacturers, and organised through its operating company in cooperation with Italian farming associations and BolognaFiere. It takes place every two years and fills the BolognaFiere exhibition centre with machinery from across the world.
The scope is wide. Tractor and implement makers sit alongside harvesting, crop care and livestock equipment, while a series of thematic showcases gives specialist areas their own space: EIMA Componenti for components, EIMA Digital for electronics and precision farming, EIMA Energy for agroforestry energy, EIMA Green for gardening and green care, and EIMA Idrotech for irrigation. A research and education area and a section for agricultural supply chain organisations complete the picture.
Visitors are overwhelmingly professional. Farmers and contractors come to compare machines, while dealers, importers and distributors use the fair to review ranges and agree supply arrangements. Foreign delegations are a long-standing feature, which gives the event a strong international buying element alongside its Italian home market.
For manufacturers, EIMA is a launch platform and a meeting point with dealer networks, particularly for Mediterranean and other export markets. A technical innovations contest held ahead of each edition gives new products a recognised route to attention, and the specialist showcases help niche suppliers reach the right visitors without being lost among the large machinery stands.

EIMA International 2026: what to expect
EIMA International 2026 takes place at BolognaFiere from 10 to 14 November, following a revision of the dates by the organiser. The winners of the EIMA 2026 Technical Innovations Contest have already been announced, and the seven thematic showcases return.
For scale, the organiser's figures for the 2024 edition record 1,748 exhibitors, 675 of them from outside Italy, across 122,000 square metres of net exhibition space, with around 60,000 models on display, 346,800 attendances (63,100 from abroad) and some 400 foreign delegations.
Exhibitors showing large machinery should agree access routes, floor loading and move-in slots with the venue early, as heavy equipment is usually positioned before the stand build starts. Free electronic tickets are offered to foreign business visitors, so it is worth sending invitations to overseas dealers well in advance.
