About Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna
Few beauty events have the international reach of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, a business-to-business fair that covers the beauty industry from raw materials through to finished products. It is organised by BolognaFiere Cosmoprof and held each spring in Bologna's exhibition district.
The event is structured as three shows, each aimed at different industries and distribution channels. Cosmopack covers the supply chain, from ingredients and contract manufacturing to packaging, machinery and private label. Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics presents finished products for retail, spanning fragrance, skincare, make-up and personal care. Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon focuses on the professional hair, beauty, spa and nail sectors.
Visitors are trade professionals: distributors, retailers, importers, brand owners, buyers and salon professionals from around the world. Special exhibition areas, educational events and networking programmes run alongside the halls.
The main reason to exhibit is reach. Brands can meet distributors and retailers from markets they might otherwise find hard to access, and suppliers in the Cosmopack halls can put their capabilities directly in front of the beauty brands that buy packaging and manufacturing services. Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2027: what to expect
For 2027 the dates differ by section. Cosmopack and Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics run from Thursday 18 to Saturday 20 March 2027, while Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon continues to Sunday 21 March. All three take place at BolognaFiere.
For scale, the organiser reported more than 3,104 exhibitors, over 255,000 visitors and more than 170,000 square metres of exhibition space at the 2026 edition.
Because the closing day depends on the section, exhibitors should check which dates apply to their hall, as build-up and breakdown schedules follow them. Bookings for 2027 are being handled through a waiting list, so prospective exhibitors should register interest with the organiser promptly. Bologna hotels fill quickly during the fair.
