About EuroTier
Organised by DLG, the German Agricultural Society, EuroTier is the international trade fair for professional animal farming. It takes place every two years at the Hannover Exhibition Centre and covers the whole livestock chain, from cattle, pig and poultry housing to feeding and milking systems, animal health and welfare, genetics, feed, robotics, sensors and farm management software.
The visitor base is professional and international. Livestock farmers, farm managers, advisers, vets and distributors travel to Hanover to compare equipment and talk to suppliers, and many plan their investment decisions around the fair. Exhibitors range from large global equipment groups to specialist manufacturers and young technology companies.
EuroTier runs alongside EnergyDecentral, DLG's fair for decentralised energy supply, and the Inhouse Farming Feed and Food Show, which looks at newer forms of food and feed production. Together they broaden the audience and give exhibitors with overlapping products access to more than one visitor group.
The fair's supporting programme is a large part of its appeal. DLG runs an Innovation Award and an Animal Welfare Award, expert stages on topics such as animal welfare, digitalisation and sensor technology, and a Science Campus where research is presented. For suppliers to professional livestock producers, the combination of a focused trade audience, strong international attendance and recognised awards makes EuroTier a natural place to launch products and meet distributors from many countries.

EuroTier 2026: what to expect
EuroTier 2026 runs from 10 to 13 November at the Hannover Exhibition Centre, again alongside EnergyDecentral and the Inhouse Farming Feed and Food Show. The guiding theme is intelligence in animal farming, with automation, robotics, sensors and AI applications high on the agenda. Winners of the 2026 Innovation Award and Animal Welfare Award have been announced ahead of the show.
DLG's review of the 2024 event reported 2,193 exhibitors from 51 countries and around 120,000 visitors from 149 countries.
Exhibitors bringing housing sections, feeding equipment or robots should confirm hall access, floor loading and delivery slots early, as large exhibits need to be placed before stand construction. Visitors arrive from many countries, so multilingual staff and literature are worth planning for.
