About FACHPACK
Nuremberg has hosted FACHPACK for more than four decades, and the fair is firmly established as a European trade event for packaging, process technology and logistics. It is organised by NürnbergMesse GmbH at the city's exhibition centre.
The show covers the full chain of packaging activity. Packaging materials and auxiliaries, packaging machinery and production technology, labelling and marking, logistics and intralogistics systems, and packaging printing and finishing are all represented. That breadth means a visitor can follow a product from the choice of material through to filling, labelling and dispatch in one place.
Exhibitors include material producers, converters, machine builders, automation specialists and service providers. Visitors are packaging professionals from industries that use packaging every day, notably food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, technical products and consumer goods. Many are engineers, packaging developers and buyers looking for solutions to specific production or compliance challenges.
The fair's agenda tends to track the pressures on the industry, such as sustainability requirements, new regulation, digitalisation and the search for alternative materials. Presentations on the exhibition floor, including the TechBox forum, give exhibitors and experts a platform to explain new approaches. For suppliers, FACHPACK offers access to the German speaking market and a wider European audience of packaging users, with visitors who arrive with practical problems to solve and the authority to act on what they find.

FACHPACK 2027: what to expect
FACHPACK 2027 takes place at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from Tuesday 21 to Thursday 23 September, open from 9:00 to 17:00 on the first two days and closing at 16:00 on Thursday.
NürnbergMesse has chosen Transition in Packaging as the guiding theme, looking at the major shifts under way in the industry. Exhibitors whose products help customers meet changing regulation, or move to recyclable or alternative materials, will find the theme a natural hook for stand messaging. The early Thursday close shortens the final day, so schedule key meetings for Tuesday and Wednesday. Machinery exhibitors planning live demonstrations should check NürnbergMesse's technical regulations early, including power, compressed air and guarding, and German-language material will help with a largely German-speaking audience.
