About Glee
For more than 50 years Glee has been the meeting point for the UK garden retail trade. Organised by Hyve Group and held each September at the NEC in Birmingham, it is the leading trade show for garden centres and the suppliers who stock them.
The show covers the full range of products sold through garden retail. Sectors include garden care, plants, landscaping and garden decoration, outdoor entertaining, home and garden improvements, home, gift and clothing, pet products, and food and drink, along with retail services and store experience. Exhibitors range from long-established garden brands to new companies looking for their first stockists.
Visitors are buyers from garden centres, DIY chains, independent retailers and online sellers. It is a trade event, and much of the activity on the floor is ordering for the following spring and summer, as well as for the Christmas season that has become so important to garden centres.
Glee's long history means many supplier and buyer relationships are renewed here year after year, which makes it valuable both for established brands defending their position and for newcomers seeking introductions. Since 2026 the show has been co-located with Autumn Fair, the home, gift and fashion trade show. That gives garden suppliers exposure to a wider retail audience, and gives home and gift suppliers easier access to garden centre buyers, who are among the biggest stockists of those products.

Glee 2027: what to expect
Glee 2027 runs from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 September at the NEC, Birmingham, opening from 09:00 to 18:00 on Monday and Tuesday and from 09:00 to 16:00 on Wednesday.
It is the second year of co-location with Autumn Fair, which opens a day earlier, on Sunday 5 September, and closes on the same day as Glee.
Garden products often need space, so exhibitors showing furniture, landscaping or outdoor living ranges should think about how to create a realistic setting within the stand footprint. Plant and food exhibitors should confirm requirements for water, refrigeration and deliveries close to the opening day with the organiser.
