About Top Drawer
With more than four decades behind it, Top Drawer is a London trade show for design-led gift, home and lifestyle brands, organised by Clarion Events at Olympia. It runs twice a year, with a January edition focused on Spring/Summer buying and an autumn edition for Autumn/Winter.
The show describes itself as a curated sourcing event, bringing together wholesale-ready brands and emerging talent for a trend-conscious retail audience. Product sections cover fashion, gift, greetings and stationery, play, wellbeing and home, while the Launchpad area showcases newer designers and makers.
Visitors are trade buyers rather than consumers. Independent retailers make up a large share of the audience, joined by buyers from larger stores, concept shops and online retailers from the UK and overseas, many of whom come with budgets to spend and ranges to fill.
For brands, the appeal lies in meeting commercially active buyers in a setting that favours quality and design. Exhibitors can take orders on site and open new stockists, and the curated layout gives smaller brands a fair chance to be noticed alongside established names. Strong merchandising matters here more than structural complexity: buyers judge a brand quickly on how the product is presented, so a clean, well-lit stand that shows ranges clearly usually outperforms an elaborate build.

Top Drawer 2027: what to expect
Top Drawer S/S27 runs from 10 to 12 January 2027 at Olympia London, from Sunday to Tuesday. The organiser cites more than 10,000 retailers attending each year from over 80 countries, with more than 500 brands exhibiting, and reported 550-plus exhibitors at the S/S25 edition.
The January show is when many retailers place orders for spring and summer, so exhibitors should arrive with clear wholesale pricing, minimum order quantities and lead times ready.
The Sunday opening means the build falls over a weekend, which can affect access to contractors and deliveries. Brands new to the show can consider Launchpad, the section for emerging designers.
