About Maison&Objet Paris
Twice a year, in January and September, Paris Nord Villepinte fills with furniture, homeware and lifestyle brands for Maison&Objet Paris. Organised by SAFI, the fair is one of the main international meeting points for the interior design and decoration trade, and it is aimed squarely at professionals rather than the public.
The show is divided into themed universes that help visitors navigate a very large offer. They include Cook & Share for tableware and kitchen products, Decor & Design, Fine Craft for artisan work, Fragrance & Ambiance, Wellness & Beauty, Fashion & Accessories, Gift & Play, and Signature & Projects for high-end furniture and hospitality-led design. Exhibitors range from established international brands to small studios and craft workshops.
The visitor base is made up mainly of retailers, with interior designers, architects and other specifiers forming a large share of the remainder. Many arrive with the aim of finding new suppliers, and a high proportion go on to place orders after the fair, according to the organiser. Press attendance is significant, which adds a media dimension to exhibiting.
Brands take part to be seen in a design-literate setting at the moments when buyers set ranges and designers gather ideas for projects. The fair's talent programme, Future On Stage, highlights emerging studios, and newcomers appear every session, so the show is as much about discovery as it is about meeting known suppliers. A strong stand matters here because visitors tend to judge a brand's point of view before they look at individual products.

Maison&Objet Paris 2027: what to expect
The January 2027 session runs from 14 to 18 January at Paris Nord Villepinte. Alongside the fair, Maison&Objet In The City runs from 13 to 18 January, a professional itinerary of around 100 Paris addresses, including showrooms and design venues, which draws buyers into the city around the main show.
Paris Nord Villepinte is a large site some distance from central Paris, so plan team travel, build crew access and delivery windows with that in mind. Visitor hours start at 9:30, and with five show days the stand needs finishes and lighting that will hold up through the week. A seated area for reviewing catalogues and placing orders is worth the floor space, since many visitors come intending to buy.
