About Classic Motor Show
For more than four decades, the Classic Motor Show has filled the NEC in Birmingham each November with cars, motorcycles, clubs and traders. Organised by Clarion Events, it is a consumer show built around enthusiasm for older vehicles, and it is known in particular for its club displays, which bring together hundreds of owners' clubs under one roof.
Trade stands sit alongside those clubs. Exhibitors include restoration specialists, parts and spares suppliers, insurers, car dealers, tool and care product brands, automobilia sellers and publishers, and the show offers several ways to take part: shell scheme or space-only trade stands, dealer spaces, a restoration area, the Classic Trader Village, and the Autojumble and Bikejumble for parts and memorabilia.
Visitors are enthusiasts, owners and collectors, and many arrive ready to spend, whether on a rare part, a specialist service or a car. A large classic car auction runs during the show, and there are vehicles for sale across the halls, which reinforces the buying mood.
The supporting programme keeps people on site all day. Live stages with well-known motoring presenters, a Meet the Experts theatre, a restoration workshop and the Pride of Ownership competition are long-running features. For businesses in the classic and heritage vehicle market, the combination of a large, committed audience and a strong club community makes the show a place both to sell and to build relationships that carry on through the year.

Classic Motor Show 2026: what to expect
The 2026 Classic Motor Show runs from 13 to 15 November at the NEC Birmingham. The organiser lists more than 3,000 classic cars and bikes, over 320 vehicle clubs and more than 450 specialist traders across seven halls, with over 600 vehicles for sale and around 500 classics in the Iconic Auctioneers sale.
New for 2026 are a Débutant theme featuring cars making their first NEC appearance, a YouTube Village, an expanded modified zone and a Podcast Café. The organiser reported 70,000 visitors at the 2024 show.
The show runs from Friday to Sunday, so stands need to cope with heavy weekend footfall and family groups as well as dedicated enthusiasts. Traders selling on the spot should plan for secure stock storage, card payments and a clear area for transactions.
