About LOUPE Europe (formerly Labelexpo Europe)
LOUPE Europe is the new name for Labelexpo Europe, the long-running trade show for the label and package printing industry. Organised by Informa Markets, the event adopted the LOUPE brand to reflect a wider view of the converging technologies its exhibitors now offer.
The show covers labels, mid-web flexible packaging such as shrink sleeves and pouches, and inline folding carton converting. On the stands, visitors find digital and conventional presses, finishing and automation systems, materials, digital embellishment, workflow and production software and sustainability solutions. Live demonstrations are a defining feature, with presses and converting lines running on the show floor.
Visitors include label and packaging printers and converters, brand owners, designers and suppliers to the industry. Many come with capital investment decisions in mind, using the show to compare equipment and see new technology working before they buy.
For manufacturers, the event is a key moment for launching new presses, materials and software, and the scale of the international audience means a single show can generate leads across many markets. Equipment suppliers often plan their product development cycles around it, and visitors expect to see significant launches. Smaller specialist suppliers also benefit, as converters walking the halls are looking for consumables, tooling and services that improve the performance of the machines they already own.

LOUPE Europe (formerly Labelexpo Europe) 2027: what to expect
The 2027 edition is the first under the LOUPE Europe name and takes place at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona from Tuesday 5 to Friday 8 October 2027. The last edition, held in 2025 as Labelexpo Europe, attracted 37,122 visitors from 140 countries and 670 exhibitors across 43,541 square metres, according to the organiser.
A new venue means exhibitors cannot rely on past experience of floor loading, service routes or access times. Anyone bringing working presses or converting lines should confirm these details with the organiser and Fira Gran Via early and plan for substrates, waste handling and safe viewing space around live demonstrations.
