About Monaco Yacht Show
Each September the harbour of Port Hercule is given over to the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the most important events in the superyacht calendar. First held in 1991, the show is organised by Informa Markets and takes place under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The heart of the event is the fleet of superyachts moored in the port, many of them presented for sale or charter, together with a large display of luxury tenders. The organiser notes that the yachts average around 50 metres in length, with some exceeding 100 metres. Around the water, dedicated areas group together related exhibitors, including a Designer Gallery, an Adventure Area, a Sailing Yacht Area and a Dockside Area, with sustainability and more responsible yachting also on the agenda.
Exhibitors include shipyards, designers, naval architects, brokers and equipment suppliers, as well as companies providing services to owners and crews. Visitors combine owners and prospective buyers with brokers, charter clients and industry professionals, so the show works as both a sales event and a trade gathering.
What sets Monaco apart is access. Few other events bring so many owners, their representatives and the professionals who advise them into such a compact space. A single conversation can lead to a new build, refit or long term service contract, which is why exhibitors place so much emphasis on presentation, hospitality and discretion.

Monaco Yacht Show 2027: what to expect
The 2027 Monaco Yacht Show runs from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25 September 2027 at Port Hercule. The previous year marked the show's 35th anniversary.
Space around the port is limited and access for vehicles is tightly controlled, so build schedules and deliveries need careful coordination. Whether an exhibitor has a berth, a dockside space or a stand in one of the themed areas, presentation is judged against the yachts nearby, which means high quality materials and lighting and a private corner for confidential conversations. Many exhibitors also plan hospitality around the evening programme, which should be considered alongside the stand budget.
