About METSTRADE
Since 1988, METSTRADE has brought the leisure marine equipment industry to RAI Amsterdam each November. Organised by RAI Amsterdam, it is a business-to-business show focused on the equipment, materials and systems that go into boats, rather than on boats for sale to the public.
Exhibitors include makers of deck hardware, engines and propulsion, electronics, interiors, coatings and construction materials, together with suppliers to marinas and boatyards and specialists serving the superyacht sector. Visitors are boatbuilders, yards, distributors, refitters and other professionals who specify and order equipment, and they come from a large number of countries.
The show is organised into zones, which helps specialist buyers find the right suppliers across a large site. It is also home to the DAME Design Awards, which recognise product design in marine equipment and attract attention for new launches, and it runs alongside The Superyacht Forum, which brings senior figures from the large yacht sector to the venue. IBEX is a strategic partner.
For marine equipment suppliers, METSTRADE is the annual meeting point and ordering event for the industry. Exhibitors use it to launch products, review distribution and meet existing customers. Because so much of the business is done in meetings, stands generally need space to sit down with buyers alongside product displays.

METSTRADE 2026: what to expect
METSTRADE 2026 runs from 17 to 19 November at RAI Amsterdam, again alongside The Superyacht Forum and the DAME Design Awards. The organiser says the 2026 edition will feature expanded halls and enhanced zones, with nearly 1,700 exhibitors expected.
For the 2025 edition, RAI Amsterdam reported 31,878 visits from 140 nationalities and nearly 1,700 exhibitors.
METSTRADE is strictly trade, so stands are judged on product detail and meeting space rather than spectacle. Exhibitors showing heavy items such as engines or deck equipment should confirm floor loading and delivery slots with the RAI in good time.
