About TTG Travel Experience

Rimini Expo Centre is home each October to TTG Travel Experience, the leading Italian business-to-business event for the promotion of global tourism. The event is closely associated with TTG Italia, a long-standing publishing brand in tourism and hospitality.

TTG works as a trade marketplace. Exhibitors include tourism boards, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines and transport companies, accommodation providers and businesses offering tourism services, technology and innovative solutions. Visitors are travel trade professionals, so the focus is on distribution, partnerships and contracting rather than consumer sales.

The show serves two directions of trade. Destinations and travel companies from abroad use it to reach Italian agents and operators who sell outbound travel, while Italian regions and businesses use it to present Italy to international buyers, who attend from many countries. That combination makes TTG a useful meeting point for anyone with an interest in the Italian travel market, whether buying or selling.

Each edition is framed by a guiding theme that shapes the talks and discussions, which cover market trends, technology and changing traveller behaviour. The programme adds depth to the commercial side of the event and gives exhibitors an opportunity to contribute to industry conversations.

For exhibitors, the main value lies in meeting qualified trade contacts over a few concentrated days, many of whom are hard to reach individually.

TTG Travel Experience 2027: what to expect

TTG Travel Experience returns to Rimini Expo Centre from 13 to 15 October 2027, organised by Italian Exhibition Group alongside the InOut hospitality event. IEG reported 2,800 exhibiting brands, more than 1,000 buyers and 15,000 business meetings at the 2026 edition, with the number of international exhibitors up 11 per cent on the year before. The 2027 theme has not yet been announced.

With buyer meetings driving the show, exhibitors should register for the matchmaking programme early and design stands around several meeting points rather than open display. Growing foreign participation means competition for international pavilion space, so tourism boards and overseas operators should confirm their position early. Bring materials in both Italian and English, and book Rimini accommodation well ahead of October.

Show recap

How TTG Travel Experience 2026 went

The 63rd TTG Travel Experience took place at Rimini Expo Centre from 14 to 16 October 2026 under the theme EXIST, sharing the venue with InOut, the hospitality community event. Italian Exhibition Group's closing release reported 2,800 exhibiting brands, more than 1,000 buyers and 15,000 business meetings across the three days.

International participation grew, with IEG citing an 11 per cent rise in foreign exhibitors and 8 per cent more exhibition space taken by international participants. Meet&Match speed-date sessions helped connect sellers with buyers, and the TTG Star Awards drew more than 6,000 reader votes.

Research presented at the show also made news. The TTG Monitor buyer survey found that 46.6 per cent of respondents planned to use AI to personalise travel proposals, while Italy, European capitals and Japan topped the list of sought-after destinations. The hospitality side featured a sustainable and inclusive design exhibition and the third ADI InOut Hospitality Design Awards. The 2027 edition is set for 13 to 15 October.
