About World of Learning Conference & Exhibition
World of Learning is a UK event for the learning and development community, bringing together the people responsible for training and developing staff with the suppliers who serve them. Its main autumn edition is held at the NEC in Birmingham, and a separate World of Learning Summit takes place in London.
The event has two parts. The exhibition is free to attend and gathers L&D suppliers offering training programmes, e-learning content, learning platforms, coaching, assessment tools and related services. It is supported by free seminars and a series of interactive areas, such as a mental wellbeing zone, a business and networking lounge, Learning Design Live and a Life Skills Lounge. The conference is a paid, two-day programme of presentations, panels and debates aimed at senior practitioners.
Workforce Solutions, a conference for HR professionals, runs alongside, so the audience mixes L&D and HR decision-makers. HR colleagues can visit the exhibition free of charge or upgrade to the conference, which widens the pool of buyers on the floor.
For exhibitors, the appeal is direct access to senior buyers who are actively looking for learning solutions. The organisers position it as a place to generate leads, launch products to an engaged audience and build relationships in person, with stand packages at a range of price points. Training providers, content developers and learning technology firms that sell into corporate and public sector organisations will find the audience particularly relevant, and the hands-on zones give suppliers chances to demonstrate rather than simply describe what they offer.

World of Learning Conference & Exhibition 2027: what to expect
The 2027 World of Learning Conference & Exhibition takes place on 5 and 6 October at the NEC in Birmingham. The exhibition is free for visitors, while the two-day conference is paid, and Workforce Solutions 2027 for HR professionals runs alongside. Recent editions have featured interactive areas such as Learning Design Live, a mental wellbeing zone and a Life Skills Lounge, and the 2027 line-up is still being finalised.
Because the audience is senior L&D and HR buyers, exhibitors get more from demonstrations and short taster sessions than from static displays, so consider a stand layout with room to show your product working. Book pre-arranged meetings with conference delegates, who move between sessions and the floor at set times. Bear in mind the London Summit at Olympia in February if you want to reach the same community earlier in the year.
