About Care Show Birmingham
Social care in the UK is a fragmented market of independent providers, groups and public bodies, and Care Show Birmingham sets out to bring a large share of its decision makers into one hall. Organised by CloserStill Media at the NEC, the show is a trade event for care professionals and the suppliers who serve them.
Visitors include care home owners and managers, domiciliary care providers, sector leaders, and professionals from the NHS, allied health and the wider public sector. Free passes are available to people working in health, social care and the public sector, while commercial companies attending as visitors pay a fee, which keeps the audience focused on providers.
The exhibition covers the products and services that keep care settings running, such as care management and digital records software, nurse call and telecare, moving and handling equipment, furniture, catering, infection control, recruitment and training, and finance. Alongside it runs a conference programme of practical sessions and panel discussions on policy, regulation and emerging solutions, as well as features such as a Care Business Clinic and a Digital Care Hub with workshops on cyber and data security.
The show has been recognised by its industry, winning Best UK Tradeshow in its size category at the AEO Excellence Awards 2023. For suppliers, its value is efficient access to care buyers who might otherwise need to be reached one provider at a time. A separate Care Show London is run by the same organiser.

Care Show Birmingham 2027: what to expect
Care Show Birmingham returns to Hall 3 at the NEC on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 October 2027, open from 10:00 to 17:00 on the first day and until 16:00 on the second. As of November 2026, CloserStill Media's website cites more than 300 suppliers, over 4,500 care professionals and more than 200 speakers as headline figures for the show. The 2027 conference programme and features are still to be announced.
Care operators often want to try equipment before buying, so suppliers of beds, hoists, seating or nurse call systems should leave clear floor space for hands-on trials, with routes wide enough for wheelchairs and walking frames. With just two days and an earlier close on the Thursday, booking meetings with group buyers before the show and staffing the stand fully through the first afternoon will pay off.
