About MCM Comic Con London (October)
MCM Comic Con London, which its organiser ReedPop calls the biggest pop culture celebration in the UK, takes over ExCeL London twice a year, in late spring and again in October. Its scope runs across comics, gaming, anime, film and television.
This is a consumer show, and the atmosphere is part of the draw. Visitors range from families and casual fans to dedicated collectors and cosplayers, and many spend the whole day exploring the floor. They tend to be highly active on social media, so a memorable stand or activation can be shared widely beyond the venue.
The show floor is divided into themed areas. Cosplay Central serves costume makers and performers, Pop Asia focuses on Asian pop culture, the Creator Pavilion gives space to independent artists and writers, and dedicated zones cover gaming and role play. A programme of panels, celebrity and voice actor guests, autographs and photo opportunities runs throughout, with an After Hours session extending the Friday into the evening.
Exhibitors include retailers selling collectibles, merchandise, comics, manga, art prints and costumes, along with publishers, game studios, entertainment brands and independent creators. For them, the appeal is high footfall combined with strong direct sales potential, and for entertainment companies it offers a stage for launches and fan activations in front of an engaged community.

MCM Comic Con London (October) 2027: what to expect
The organiser's FAQ currently lists the October 2027 edition of MCM Comic Con London at ExCeL London on 24 to 26 October 2027. That would mean a Sunday to Tuesday run rather than the usual Friday to Sunday, so treat the dates as provisional until ReedPop confirms them. Before then, the spring show returns to ExCeL on 28 to 30 May 2027. Traders planning for October should expect the familiar mix of dense weekend crowds, strong direct sales and themed areas, and keep queue space, card payments and stock storage at the centre of the stand plan.
