About WindEurope Annual Event
The WindEurope Annual Event is a major conference and exhibition for the European wind energy sector, covering both onshore and offshore wind. It is organised by WindEurope, the trade association that describes itself as the voice of the wind energy industry in Europe, and the host city changes from year to year.
The exhibition spans the full wind value chain. Turbine manufacturers, component and blade suppliers, foundation and installation specialists, and grid connection and system integration companies take part, alongside providers of digital monitoring, operations and maintenance services, finance, insurance and consultancy. Visitors include developers, utilities, grid operators, investors, engineers and policymakers.
The conference programme is central to the event's character. Sessions examine the bottlenecks holding back wind deployment, the pace of electrification and Europe's energy security, which brings senior industry and government figures into the building for strategic conversations rather than casual browsing. A poster programme and university involvement add a research dimension.
For exhibitors, the event offers access to procurement leads, project teams and investors who can be hard to reach through ordinary sales channels. Because the real products are far too large to bring, stands usually rely on scale models, component samples and digital content to tell their story, with meeting space just as important for contract and partnership discussions. Stand Between can match exhibitors with builders experienced in delivering at international venues.

WindEurope Annual Event 2027: what to expect
WindEurope's 2027 Annual Event takes place from 20 to 22 April at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, a return to Denmark, which the organiser calls the birthplace of wind energy. WindEurope expects more than 16,000 participants and over 500 exhibitors, with more than 80 sessions, 400 speakers and 200 posters. Delegate registration is due to open in December 2026, and a start-up pavilion is planned within the exhibition.
Stand sales opened in March 2026, so companies still looking for space should contact the organiser soon or consider partner and pavilion options. Exhibitors bringing nacelle components, blades or other heavy models need to confirm floor loading, door sizes and delivery slots at the Bella Center well ahead, and a meeting area is worth planning in, since much of the business happens in scheduled conversations.
