About Enlit Europe
Enlit Europe is an annual gathering for the European energy transition, covering power generation, grids, utilities, digitalisation and decarbonisation. It is produced by Synergy BV, part of the Enlit media portfolio within Clarion Events, and it changes host city from one edition to the next, which gives each event a different national flavour.
The format combines a strategic summit with an expo floor, and the two are closely linked. Topic hubs and content stages sit within the exhibition halls, so visitors move between talks and stands throughout the day. Thematic zones, country pavilions, an Innovators Zone for startups and newer solutions, and a zone for EU-funded energy projects help visitors find what is relevant to them, and a large side event programme runs around the main event.
Exhibitors include utilities, grid operators, equipment manufacturers, metering and software providers, energy storage companies, consultancies and research bodies. Visitors are trade professionals from across the energy value chain, with a strong presence of people responsible for strategy, investment and procurement in utilities and network companies.
Companies exhibit to meet the people shaping Europe's future energy system in one place. The organiser promotes a buyer-focused model with pre-arranged meetings and networking tools, which suits suppliers selling complex projects with long sales cycles. Because the host city moves, the event also offers a way to raise a profile in a different national market each time.

Enlit Europe 2026: what to expect
Enlit Europe 2026 runs from 10 to 12 November in Vienna, at VIECON, the Vienna Congress and Convention Center at Messe Wien, Messeplatz 1. According to the organiser, the event will use Halls A, B and C with access through Entrance A. The previous edition was held in Bilbao in 2025.
The organiser is planning for around 15,000 attendees and more than 750 exhibiting companies at the 2026 event, with participants from around 140 countries and more than 100 EU-funded energy projects represented.
Because Enlit moves city, venue regulations, contractors and freight routes differ from the previous edition. Exhibitors who used a builder for Bilbao should check that the same team is set up to work at Messe Wien, or bring in a partner with local experience.
