About Automechanika Birmingham
Automechanika Birmingham is the UK member of Messe Frankfurt's international Automechanika family and describes itself as the country's leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and supply chain. Messe Frankfurt UK organises the show at the NEC, placing it in the Midlands, at the centre of the UK motor industry.
Product areas cover parts and components, diagnostics and workshop equipment, tools, paint and bodyshop supplies, tyres, accessories, electrification and repair technology. Alongside the aftermarket offer, the Automotive Supply Chain Forum gives the show a second strand aimed at the manufacturing supply chain.
The audience is trade. Visitors include garages, bodyshops, motor factors, distributors, dealer groups, fleet operators and supply chain buyers, so conversations tend to be about stocking, pricing and technical capability rather than browsing.
A range of features gives visitors reasons to stay. The Automechanika Garage Awards, hosted with the IAAF, and the National Paint Championships celebrate workshop skills, while Motorvate focuses on recruitment and skills, and the Thirty Under 30 programme highlights young talent. Interactive areas such as live paint, spray, body repair and detailing demonstrations have featured at past shows. For international suppliers, the show is a strong entry point to the UK aftermarket, and for established brands it is a chance to meet a broad cross section of trade customers in a few days.

Automechanika Birmingham 2027: what to expect
Automechanika Birmingham returns from 8 to 10 June 2027 in Halls 18 to 20 at the NEC, its first edition since 2025. Messe Frankfurt UK is targeting more than 550 brands from over 25 countries and around 15,000 senior UK visitors for 2027. The Innovation4Mobility conference is part of the programme.
Diagnostics and equipment brands should plan working demonstrations, and anyone bringing a vehicle, lift or heavy workshop kit needs to confirm floor loading, access and delivery times with the NEC early. International exhibitors should allow extra time for shipping and customs.
