About Commercial Vehicle Show
Known across the transport industry as the CV Show, the Commercial Vehicle Show is a long-established UK event for road freight, distribution and logistics. It is organised by Nineteen Group in partnership with the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), and is held at the NEC Birmingham, where it describes itself as the UK's leading event in its sector for 26 years.
The exhibition covers the whole commercial vehicle supply chain. Truck, van and trailer manufacturers sit alongside bodybuilders, component and parts suppliers, tyre brands, telematics and fleet software providers, alternative fuel and charging specialists, and finance and leasing firms. Visitors are trade professionals such as fleet managers, operations directors, hauliers and procurement teams, and the organiser reports that a large majority of the audience are influencers or key decision makers.
Content is a major part of the show, with several stages including a Main Stage, Technical Stage, FutureFleet Arena and Decarbonisation Theatre, along with themed zones on electric vehicles, decarbonisation and driver safety. Live demonstrations and workshops support the exhibition.
The CV Show is co-located with the Bus & Coach Expo, which broadens the audience into passenger transport. For exhibitors, vehicles bring their own logistics, and stand designs need to work around large exhibits rather than compete with them. Software and finance exhibitors, by contrast, often benefit more from demo screens and semi-private meeting space. Stand Between can match exhibitors with builders experienced at the NEC.

Commercial Vehicle Show 2027: what to expect
The 2027 CV Show runs from 20 to 22 April 2027 in Halls 4 and 5 at the NEC Birmingham, alongside the Bus & Coach Expo. Opening hours are 9.30am to 5pm on the first two days, with a 3.30pm close on the Thursday.
The organiser reported 14,991 visitors and more than 350 exhibitors at the 2026 show, with over 150 speakers across the programme.
Exhibitors displaying trucks, vans or trailers need to agree move-in slots, vehicle positioning and floor loading with the organiser well before build-up. Raised platforms, good lighting and clear sightlines help show vehicles at their best.
