About National Cyber Security Show (at The Security Event)
Aimed squarely at UK businesses, the National Cyber Security Show focuses on the core essentials of cyber management, protection and recovery. Nineteen Group runs it as part of its Safety and Security Event Series at the NEC in Birmingham, and the show's information now sits within The Security Event website.
That pairing shapes the audience. Visitors come from across the series, which also covers fire safety, health and safety, facilities and workplace management, so cyber exhibitors meet security professionals and business decision makers who often hold responsibility for both physical and digital risk. Organisations of every size are represented, not only large enterprise security teams.
Exhibitors typically include providers of managed security services, threat detection, identity and access, data protection, compliance tools and training. Industry bodies have a visible presence too, with pavilions from organisations such as CREST, IASME and techUK, which gives the floor a practical, standards led feel.
The show is free to attend for professionals, and a CPD accredited education programme keeps visitors on site between stand visits. For vendors, the attraction is access to buyers who might not attend specialist cyber conferences, combined with the footfall generated by several large co-located events in neighbouring space.

National Cyber Security Show (at The Security Event) 2027: what to expect
The 2027 show takes place from 27 to 29 April at the NEC in Birmingham, in Hall 5. Opening hours run from 10:00 to 16:30 on the first two days and close at 15:30 on the Thursday.
It runs alongside The Security Event and the rest of Nineteen Group's series, including the Fire Safety Event, the Health and Safety Event and The Workplace Event, so visitors can move between shows on one badge.
Because many visitors are business owners and generalist IT managers, live demonstrations and plain language graphics tend to work better than feature lists. Free Wi-Fi is available in the halls, but anyone running live demos should still order a dedicated wired connection rather than rely on shared networks.
