Salone del Mobile.Milano 2027

Founded in 1961 to promote Italian furniture, Salone del Mobile.Milano has become the world's best-known furniture and design fair. It is held every April at Fiera Milano in Rho, organised by Federlegno Arredo Eventi, and coincides with Milan Design Week, when installations and launches spread across the city.

The fair brings together manufacturers and design houses from around the world showing furniture, furnishing accessories, lighting and interiors for homes and contract projects. Alongside the main exhibition, biennial sections focused on specific product areas, such as lighting, alternate from year to year. SaloneSatellite gives emerging designers a platform, Salone Raritas presents unique pieces, limited editions, antiques and fine craftsmanship, and Salone Contract addresses the large and complex market for hospitality, workplace and other projects.

The audience is international and highly design-literate: architects, interior designers, retailers, distributors and a large press corps, with members of the public also able to attend. A public programme of masterclasses, discussions and installations adds to the cultural side of the week.

For exhibitors, Salone is where collections are launched to a global audience. The press attention is substantial, and a well-received stand can shape a year of conversations with specifiers and retailers.
