About MICAM Milano
For footwear brands, MICAM Milano is one of the most important dates in the selling calendar. The international footwear exhibition takes place twice a year, in February and September, at Fiera Milano in Rho, on the north-west edge of Milan, and is run by ANCI Servizi on behalf of Assocalzaturifici, the Italian footwear manufacturers' association.
Exhibitors present men's, women's and children's collections spanning luxury and designer labels, contemporary fashion, casual, sports and comfort footwear. Alongside established Italian and international brands, the show gives space to new names through its Emerging Designers programme and an Italian start-up area.
The audience is professional: buyers, retailers, distributors, agents and fashion media from around the world. Many visit every season, because MICAM is where orders for the coming season are placed and international distribution deals are discussed.
MICAM Next provides seminars, technology showcases and trend analysis, and a Trends Buyer's Guide helps visitors navigate the halls. A free matchmaking tool connects exhibitors and buyers before the show. MICAM also runs at the same time as related Milan fairs covering leather goods, jewellery and fashion, leather and tanning technology, so buyers can combine several sectors in one trip.
Exhibiting at both editions each year is common, and many brands treat their MICAM stand as a recurring showroom that evolves from season to season.

MICAM Milano 2027: what to expect
The February 2027 edition of MICAM Milano runs from 21 to 23 February at Fiera Milano Rho, with the following edition scheduled for 12 to 14 September 2027.
The co-located events include MIPEL for leather goods, Milano Fashion & Jewels, Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech, which broadens the buyer base well beyond footwear specialists. The Emerging Designers showcase, MICAM Next talks and the MICAM Taste Arena all feature.
Brands exhibiting in both February and September can design a stand system that adapts between seasons, which keeps costs down and shortens build time. Order-taking happens seated, so a comfortable area for line sheets and appointments usually matters more than extra display wall.
