About ScotHot
ScotHot is Scotland's trade show for food, drink, hospitality and tourism, held at the SEC in Glasgow and organised by 365 Events. It runs every other year, so each edition is a significant date for suppliers wanting to reach the Scottish market.
Visitors are owners, chefs, managers and buyers from hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafés, contract and public sector catering, leisure venues, retail and visitor attractions. They come for front and back of house products: food and drink, catering equipment, tableware, technology, furniture and interiors, and services.
A large part of the show's value is its reach. The organiser notes that many of its visitors do not attend other UK trade events, which makes ScotHot one of the few places to meet a broad cross-section of Scottish operators in person.
Two features add footfall and profile. The Scottish Culinary Championships bring live competition to the halls, and the Scottish Tourism Alliance's Signature Conference runs alongside the show, drawing senior people from the tourism sector.
Suppliers exhibit to open accounts with independent and group operators, launch products to a Scottish audience and strengthen existing relationships. Because trade in the sector is often built on personal contact, the show works best for exhibitors who invest in conversation space and sampling rather than display alone.

ScotHot 2027: what to expect
ScotHot returns to the SEC in Glasgow on 24 and 25 February 2027. The organiser's site points to more than 250 exhibitors and over 8,000 attendees, and says that 59 per cent of its visitors do not attend other UK trade events.
The Scottish Culinary Championships and the Scottish Tourism Alliance's Signature Conference both feature again.
Food and drink exhibitors should plan sampling with hand washing, refrigeration and waste handling in mind and check the SEC's sampling rules early. Suppliers and builders based in England should factor in travel time to Glasgow for both build and stock deliveries.
