About Security & Policing
Security & Policing is the UK Government's official global security event, and its format sets it apart from most trade shows. It is hosted by the Home Office's Joint Security and Resilience Centre (JSaRC), organised by ADS Group and held each year at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Hampshire.
There is no general admission. Every exhibitor and visitor is subject to Home Office approval, which creates a controlled environment and an audience of senior decision makers and policy developers from UK Government, law enforcement and the wider security community, along with international delegations.
The organiser cites more than 400 suppliers taking part. Their capabilities span policing and counter-terrorism, border security, transport security, offender management, cyber security, major event security and critical national infrastructure. Dedicated areas such as the Government Zone, the Innovation Zone and the Counter Threat Pavilion help visitors find what they need, while a speaker programme and live demonstrations set out operational priorities and show technology in use.
For companies in the security sector, direct time with government buyers and operational users is otherwise hard to secure, and that access is the main reason to exhibit. Recognition is also available through the ADS Security Innovation Award and the Home Office Academic Innovation Award. Evening events, including the Security Dinner, add networking beyond the exhibition floor, and the Security & Policing+ online platform extends contact around the event itself.

Security & Policing 2027: what to expect
The 2027 event runs from 16 to 18 March 2027 at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.
The approval process is what most shapes planning. Every member of the exhibiting team needs Home Office clearance, so build applications into the timeline early, and choose a stand contractor whose crew can work within the venue's access procedures for a secure event. Visitors are time-pressed professionals who want to understand quickly what a product does and where it has been used, so capability-led messaging tends to work better than spectacle. A discreet meeting area is useful, as not every conversation suits an open stand.
