About SiGMA Europe
Malta is a long-standing base for the online gaming industry, and SiGMA Europe is the flagship summit that SiGMA Group stages there. It forms part of the organiser's wider series of iGaming events around the world.
The exhibition reflects the full iGaming ecosystem. Casino and sportsbook operators, game studios, platform and aggregation providers, affiliates, payments and fintech firms, compliance and identity verification specialists and marketing agencies all take space. Visitors include operators, affiliates, investors, regulators and technology professionals, with a high share of senior decision makers. Operators and affiliates are generally offered free registration, which keeps the buyer side of the audience strong.
The event is built around deal making. A conference programme covers regulation, marketing and emerging technology, while start-up pitch competitions, an awards evening with a charity auction, sports tournaments and VIP lounges create plenty of informal networking. A matchmaking app helps delegates arrange meetings in advance.
For suppliers, the attraction is concentrated access to international iGaming buyers and partners in one venue over a few days. Stands tend to be bold, with strong lighting, screens and hospitality, and game studios usually bring playable demos while platform and payments firms prioritise meeting space.

SiGMA Europe 2027: what to expect
SiGMA Europe moves to a new slot in 2027. Having traditionally been held in November, it runs from 3 to 5 May 2027 at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali. The organiser says the spring date avoids peak season congestion and benefits from better flight connections.
For 2027, SiGMA Group expects around 12,000 delegates, more than 400 sponsors and exhibitors and over 400 speakers.
Because Malta is an island, freight, customs paperwork and local labour need more planning than a mainland show, and it is worth asking whether a Malta based or regional contractor can reduce shipping costs. Flights and hotels also tighten quickly once delegate numbers build.
