About The AI Summit London
Enterprise adoption, rather than research, is the focus of The AI Summit London. Run by Informa Connect, the event brings together organisations that are putting artificial intelligence to work and the companies that supply the tools, platforms and services to help them. It takes place each June at Tobacco Dock in Wapping, East London.
The format is conference-led, with content spread across multiple stages and tracks covering strategy, governance, infrastructure, data and industry use cases. The audience the organiser targets includes chief AI officers, senior enterprise leaders, technical specialists, policymakers and investors, alongside the AI solution providers themselves.
An expo floor runs alongside the sessions. Exhibitors use it for live demonstrations and hands-on displays, and the organiser encourages visitors to compare options side by side and leave with a shortlist. Exhibiting companies typically include AI platform vendors, cloud and infrastructure providers, data specialists, consultancies and younger start-ups. A Start-Up & Investor Village gives early-stage companies a dedicated area, and the AI Trail routes visitors past interactive stations around the venue.
For suppliers, the value lies in meeting senior buyers who are moving from pilots to wider deployment and who come specifically to evaluate solutions. Because the exhibition is smaller and more focused than a general technology fair, a well-planned stand can hold the attention of the people it most needs to reach. Hosted meeting programmes and the National AI Awards add further routes to decision makers.

The AI Summit London 2027: what to expect
The 2027 summit takes place on 9 and 10 June at Tobacco Dock, London.
The 2026 edition was billed as the event's tenth anniversary and introduced new content areas including a Creative AI track and the Impact Arena, which hosted briefings and live demos for senior leaders. The Start-Up & Investor Village has followed a pattern of founder content on the first day and a pitch competition on the second, which is worth bearing in mind when planning staffing.
Exhibitors should read the Tobacco Dock venue rules early, particularly on delivery access, build height and fixings, and favour stands that rely on screens and live demonstrations rather than heavy construction. The organiser's Curated Connections programme arranges meetings with buyers, so it is worth leaving seated space for scheduled conversations.
