About Decorex
For close to five decades Decorex has been a fixture of the London design calendar, positioning itself as an event for the high-end interiors trade. It is now organised by Informa Markets and held at Olympia London.
The visitor base is tightly defined. Interior designers, architects and specifiers make up the core audience, along with others who specify or buy for premium residential, hospitality and commercial projects. They come to discover new suppliers, see materials in person and keep up with the direction of luxury interiors.
Exhibitors cover furniture, lighting, fabrics and wallcoverings, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, tiles and decorative accessories. Craft has a strong presence: the Making Spaces area showcases artisans selected by a committee, which gives the show a distinctive character and offers smaller makers a platform alongside established brands.
A talks programme, Design Talks, brings designers and industry figures to the stage to discuss trends and practice, while dedicated networking areas such as the VIP Lounge and The Bar give exhibitors and specifiers room to continue conversations away from the stands.
For premium brands, the attraction is access to specifiers. A single designer can recommend a product across many projects over several years, so each relationship formed at Decorex can carry considerable long-term value. The curated nature of the show also lets exhibitors present themselves in the company of respected names in the sector.

Decorex 2027: what to expect
Decorex 2027 is scheduled for 10 to 13 October at Olympia London, open from 10:00 to 18:00 on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and closing at 17:00 on the Wednesday. A Sunday opening gives designers who are tied up during the working week an easier first chance to visit. The organiser's website quotes more than 12,500 design professionals and over 280 suppliers and makers as headline figures, without attaching a year to them. Details of the 2027 Design Talks, the Making Spaces artisans and the lounge designs are still to come.
Specifiers here judge suppliers on craft, so considered materials, controlled lighting and a seated area for working through samples will achieve more than a large open display. Olympia has its own build schedules and access limits, so agree delivery slots and height allowances with your builder early.
