About EuroCIS
EuroCIS is Messe Düsseldorf's trade fair for retail technology, part of the EuroShop family of retail events and held at the Düsseldorf fairground. It runs every two years and concentrates on the systems that sit behind and inside the modern store.
The product scope is wide but focused: connected retail, checkout and self-checkout, payment, point of sale hardware and software, analytics and AI, merchandise and supply chain management, pricing and electronic shelf labels, digital marketing, robotics, security and loss prevention, cash management, energy management and infrastructure. Dedicated hubs for start-ups and cyber security add further depth.
Visitors come from retail, wholesale, e-commerce, consumer goods, food service, hospitality and financial services. A large share hold management roles and are involved in investment decisions, so many arrive with live projects rather than general curiosity.
Because the show is specialised, conversations can move quickly from demonstration to specification. Retailers want to see technology working as it would in store, which is why the strongest stands recreate checkouts, shelf edges or customer journeys rather than relying on screens alone. Exhibitors range from global technology vendors to young companies looking for their first major retail customers, and the start-up hub gives the latter a defined place on the floor.

EuroCIS 2027: what to expect
EuroCIS 2027 runs from 16 to 18 February in Halls 1, 4 and 5 of the Düsseldorf fairground, open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Exhibitors have access from 8:00 to 19:00.
New for this edition is a Food Service Innovation Hub, joining the existing start-up hub and a Cybersecurity Hub run with KPMG. At the 2025 show the organiser reported 14,471 trade visitors from 97 countries and 500 exhibitors, 271 of them from outside Germany.
Live demonstrations are the core of most EuroCIS stands, so power, network connections and screen positions need to be fixed early and tested during build. Düsseldorf hotels fill during major fairs, which affects both stand teams and build crews.
