About transport logistic
Munich has hosted transport logistic since it was first held in 1978, and the fair has grown into the reference event for freight, logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. Messe München organises it every two years at its exhibition grounds, which gives each edition a strong sense of occasion for the industry.
The exhibitor base covers every link in the chain. Road, rail, sea and air freight operators share the halls with ports and terminals, warehousing and intralogistics firms, telematics and software providers, and logistics service companies. Air cargo Europe, the organiser's dedicated air freight event, runs at the same time and on the same site, adding airlines, handlers and forwarders to the mix.
Visitors are trade professionals. Logistics service providers make up the largest share, followed by buyers from industry and manufacturing, and more than half of the audience typically travels from outside Germany. Shippers, forwarders, carriers and supply chain managers use the four days to review partners and tender plans.
For exhibitors, the biennial rhythm concentrates two years of relationship building into a single week. Companies launch services, meet international partners they rarely see in person, and position themselves in front of a highly international audience. The fair also anchors a wider family of transport logistic events in other regions, so a presence in Munich carries weight across that network.

transport logistic 2027: what to expect
The next transport logistic runs from 26 to 29 April 2027 at Messe München, with air cargo Europe alongside. The fair moves to an earlier slot than in 2025, when it was held in early June, so exhibitors should plan production and freight schedules with that in mind.
The 2025 edition set the current benchmark. Messe München reported more than 77,000 visitors from over 130 countries and regions, around 2,720 exhibitors from 73 countries, and 150,000 square metres of space across 12 halls plus an outdoor area.
Companies planning to show vehicles, handling equipment or port technology should raise outdoor space and floor loads with the organiser early. Munich hotels also fill quickly during large fairs, which affects build crews as much as stand staff.
