About Global Offshore Wind
Global Offshore Wind is RenewableUK's flagship annual conference and exhibition for the offshore wind industry, and the trade body describes it as Europe's largest offshore wind event. It is held at ExCeL London and brings together the businesses and public bodies working to build, finance and operate offshore wind capacity in the UK and around the world.
The event is conference-led, but the exhibition floor is substantial. Exhibitors cover the whole project lifecycle: foundations and cables, vessels and marine services, turbine components, installation and maintenance, engineering consultancy, ports and logistics, digital monitoring and floating wind technology. The audience includes developers, turbine manufacturers, tier one contractors, supply chain companies, investors, government officials and policy makers, with a strong senior presence because of the speaker programme.
Several features help structure the floor. A Supply Chain Hub supports companies looking to enter or grow within the sector, an Innovation Theatre and an Energy Transition Zone host shorter sessions, and a Start-Up Zone gives emerging businesses a lower-cost way to take part.
For suppliers, the main reason to exhibit is access. Developers and their main contractors are in one place for two days, and the relationships formed here often feed into procurement for projects years down the line. Because visitors move between conference sessions and the exhibition in short bursts, stands that state clearly where a company fits in the supply chain tend to make the most of the time available.

Global Offshore Wind 2027: what to expect
The 2027 event takes place on 16 and 17 June at ExCeL London, open 9am to 6pm, and RenewableUK is billing it as a special 25th edition. The trade body expects more than 5,200 attendees, over 300 exhibitors and more than 230 speakers from upwards of 45 countries in 2027.
The Supply Chain Hub, Innovation Theatre, Energy Transition Zone and Start-Up Zone are again part of the format, alongside an International Delegations programme. The Start-Up Zone is open to businesses under five years old with turnover below £500,000 and no more than ten staff.
Offshore products rarely fit on a stand, so exhibitors tend to rely on scale models, component samples and video of installation work. Senior delegates spend much of their time in conference sessions, which makes pre-booked meetings and a quiet seated area on the stand more productive than relying on passing traffic.
